These terms explain how Sortd works, what you can expect from our comparisons, and the limits of what we provide.
Quick summary
- Sortd provides comparisons, savings estimates, and referral journeys for household bills.
- Sortd is not the provider of the products or services being compared.
- Savings and eligibility depend on your information and the provider's decision.
- Users should review provider terms before proceeding with any quote or switch.
Full terms
These terms apply when you access or use Sortd. They are intended to explain clearly what Sortd does, what it does not do, and where responsibility sits when you choose to act on a comparison, quote, or switch.
1. About the service
Sortd provides comparison tools, savings estimates, and referral journeys for recurring household bills and services.
This may include products such as energy, broadband, insurance, and other similar household costs.
Sortd is not the provider, insurer, bank, utility company, or telecom provider for the products or services being compared unless we clearly say otherwise.
2. No guarantee of savings or eligibility
Savings shown on Sortd are estimates only.
They are based on the information you provide, the provider or market data available at the time, and the assumptions used in the relevant comparison flow.
Final pricing, acceptance, eligibility, quote outcomes, and contract terms are determined by the provider or partner, not by Sortd.
A comparison result or recommendation on Sortd does not guarantee that you will qualify for a product or receive a particular price.
3. User responsibilities
You are responsible for the information you provide and for the decisions you make using Sortd.
- You should provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information.
- You should review provider terms, pricing, exclusions, and eligibility rules before proceeding with any quote or switch.
- You should make sure any decision you take is suitable for your own household circumstances.
4. Third-party providers and links
If you choose to continue with a provider, quote, or switching journey, you will usually be dealing directly with that provider or partner.
Those third parties operate under their own terms, pricing, privacy notices, and operational processes.
Sortd is not responsible for provider decisions, provider acceptance criteria, pricing changes, service outages, contract terms, or any change made by a provider after you leave Sortd or continue through a partner flow.
5. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Sortd.
By using the service, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that you are using Sortd for lawful purposes only.
6. Limitation of liability
Sortd is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
We aim to make the service useful, clear, and reliable, but we do not guarantee that Sortd will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or fully accurate.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Sortd is not liable for losses, costs, or decisions arising from your use of the platform, your reliance on comparisons or savings estimates, or your dealings with third-party providers or partners.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under Irish law.
7. Changes to the service
Sortd may modify, suspend, or update the service at any time.
This may include changing product areas, comparison methods, provider integrations, site features, or referral journeys.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time.
When we do, we will update the date shown on this page. By continuing to use Sortd after the terms have been updated, you accept the revised terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland.
Any dispute relating to these terms or your use of Sortd will be subject to the applicable laws and courts of Ireland, unless applicable consumer law requires otherwise.
